Freezits, pada and malambe often bring a smile to Rohene's face. Not sure what any of these are? Ask her. Originally from Zimbabwe and a very mixed cultural background, Rohene's interest in the intersection of culture, diversity and identity often leads her to dive headfirst into opportunities to engage ethically and authentically in intercultural settings. Having had triumphs, challenges and great memories from immigrating to Canada, Rohene's passion for finding out how to create a sense of belonging is what keeps her energized. Rohene is a current graduate student in the Master of Arts in Intercultural and International Communication program at Royal Roads University.
